There isn't a food menu, although Parasol Up (and the other bars within Wynn) have some of the best little bar nibbles on the Strip. And there's a Gentleman Jack-based Sinatra Smash with blackberries. The 'Pear-a-Sol' blends pear vodka, Belle Paire Pear Liqueur, and pear puree. The cocktail menu draws on classic ingredients to create signature cocktails that are reminiscent of the hotel and its history.
How are the drinks? This is almost purely cocktails and wine, although you can get a few beers too. They definitely care about what they're drinking: This cocktail program is executed deliberately and precisely. They love to come here because the people-watching is some of the best in Las Vegas (downstairs, you'll see the lake and all the people going into the restaurants that bookend Parasol Down, but upstairs you'll see virtually everyone that passes through the casino floor). So who’s there? This is a crowd that can easily afford a $20 cocktail. It's the wildly colorful sister to Parasol Down, which is just down a set of stairs and opposite the Lake of Dreams and its waterfall.Ĭool. First impression?
